Vanessa Morales is an associate (pending admission to the New York Bar) in the firm’s transactional group, where she focuses on corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions, and contract drafting and negotiation.

Prior to joining Dunning Vallejo & MacDonald LLP, Vanessa gained experience in New York, Dubai, Miami, and New Orleans, working both in-house and at international law firms. Her work included matters related to maritime law as well as a range of corporate and commercial issues.

Vanessa earned her J.D. from Tulane University Law School, where she served as the Senior Notes and Comments Editor of the Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law and published her case note, Navalnyy v. Russia: A Failed Attempt at Silencing the Opposition. She received her B.A. in International Studies from American University in Washington, D.C.
